Claire Paniccia – Brain-Friendly Business

Forget how your *supposed* to run a business…
Make yours work for your neurosparkly brain AND your wallet
Stop forcing your square-peg brain into round-hole business strategies. Let’s build something that actually fits, doesn’t burn you out, and makes you enough money to seriously thrive.

Here’s the truth:
For many neurodivergent entrepreneurs, running our own business is the only option
Because traditional jobs weren’t built for us.

And that’s super shitty and unfair.

But, running a business that works WITH your brain and body (instead of against it) opens up some really exciting doors…

You have more control over when, how, and how much you work (without having to “prove yourself” or “pay your dues” to get a raise)
You get to only work on what’s exciting to you at the moment, and say no to things that aren’t.
You get to pivot and restructure your business or offers when something stops working for you.
You get to say “I only take calls/meetings after 10am,” because before that, your brain is offline and you’re doing your morning ritual of reading for an hour.
You get to end your day when your brain/body says it’s time to, and that could be 2pm or 11pm.

Unfortunately… we live in a capitalist soup.
And even in the online entrepreneur space, there are all these “gurus” promising proven methods and step-by-step roadmaps to fast-track your success.

And saying you *have* to do things xyz way in order to be successful.

So we buy their courses and sign up for their programs and throw our money at them (because if we don’t invest in ourselves, we “must not want it enough”, right?)…

One week we hyperfocus on some new fandangled tactic to grow our email list. The next we’re eyeballs deep trying to be *consistent* (barf) on social media. And maybe the week after that, we try some Atomic-Pomodoro-”just-do-it”-BS to try and push through when we’re already out of spoons…

Only for these cookie-cutter strategies to just not work for us.

Or maybe they do work, but they don’t feel right and they’re not something we could energetically sustain for long.

And we end up still hustling and grinding just to pay the bills (and to pay for those courses).

So we end up becoming a worse boss to ourselves than our old boss was at our job-job 😩

Because if you’re doing business in a way that doesn’t work for you, it really feels no different than when you were working for someone else.

Still tortured. Still tired. Still unaccommodated. Still not making enough money.

I say it all the time – those “gurus” are liars.

You can still be successful even if you don’t do exactly what they say you “have to do”, or follow whatever “best practices” there are.

You CAN toss out the rulebook and run your business in a way that works for you.

but
(yes, there’s a but!)
That way still has to make you money.

We can only thrive when we make money (see: capitalist soup above).

[And I don’t just mean “enough” money – I said thrive, not survive. Only surviving means lots of stress and panic whenever the bills come around. That isn’t very brain-friendly.]
